do you have a Bearing Man Hayley ltd shop near you if so you can take the old seal to them and they can match it in their catalogue, they have a huge range of oil seals etc available to them they just need the dimensions off the old one or from the hole and shaft size.
"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence. "Torque" is how far you take the fence with you

Auto or Manual ?

Manual, but I think they're the same anyway. The driveshafts are still least.

there is a gasket kit listed for the manual box containing all the seals and bits you need...04331-12080

I've got the numbers somewhere for the individual seals ( Auto ) if that's no good

Thanks Rich. I don't really want the whole gasket set as it's only the driveshaft seal that's leaking. I'm waiting for a price from Toyota. I've found a number that might be the seals, 90311-34008, but I'm not sure, I'll ask them when they ring back. If someone knows the sizes of the seals I can try and source one another way, depends how much Toyota want really.

I bought 2 new ones for my autobox a while back - one was about 8 quid, the other side was 42 for some reason ! if you can get the right one from a seal place and not Toyota it'll save you a packet !

Looking at Toyodiy.com, it's common between a lot of cars, from Starlets through to Celicas and from 1983 to 2002 Corollas.

hopefully that means its cheap and easy to obtain.

Prices aren't astronomical. 7.09 for one and 9.22 for the other, plus VAT. So less than 20 the pair. A lot for a seal mind you, but wouldn't break the bank!

As I parked in the disabled bay the other day someone shouted over

That's the first place I looked Adam, but couldn't find the seals on there at all. Unless they call them something else. But those part numbers aren't even on the diagrams.

im guessing this is the diagram reference

on that webpage that tallys up with the 2 part numbers that you got

cant you just ring toyota and ask them for a set of seals and give them your chassis number ?? that way if they are incorrect then its their fault not yours and you can send them back

They're internal to the differential, the ones I'm after are external and run on the driveshaft itself. I'll ring Toyota and double check, using my chassis number.
