Read article a while back but have been searching and cannot find.
It had pics on how to dismantle etc.
If someone knows where the article is can you post a link for me.
Thanks.

Don't have the article but I've replaced mine. There are just a few screws to take the housing apart. If needed I still have an woofer that fit's the housing with some slight mods. (bought 2 and used one myself)

Thanks for reply.

I just took all the screws off and took the speaker out.

I need to re foam the speaker or replace.

I am going to try a "ghetto" refoam first.  Looking for the article for suggestions.

Any suggestions on a 4 inch gasket to use.

No I'm afraid not but some people used self-adhesive band-aid and reported decent results. If not:

There are a surprising amount of screws to undo.    Someone used surgical tape with surprisingly good results.

Thanks for the pics and suggestions.

Surgical tape is as "ghetto as it gets!!

Is that AIR a 4 or 5 inch speaker. Cost?

I am off to the local electronics store to look for ideas.

It's a 4" and it's €20,- + shipping. Also got the speakers from the sausage & tweeters available (see my bit's and bobs topic in the "marketplace" header).
